About
My name is Johnelle Johnson - Charles, Principal Mediator
With a lifelong passion for resolving conflict and fostering understanding, I bring a unique and compassionate approach to mediation services. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and am on the path to becoming a licensed social worker. In addition, I have earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA), combining a strong foundation in human services with strategic leadership and business acumen.
My professional journey spans over 14 years as a certified special educator, school administrator and Texas CPS worker, where I have helped families, students, and staff navigate complex challenges with empathy, structure, and discretion. I also proudly operated a successful licensed childcare center for five years and continue to thrive as an entrepreneur, running multiple businesses that serve and uplift my community.
Mediation has been a natural part of my life—long before it became a formal title. Whether supporting parents in conflict, guiding colleagues through workplace disputes, or helping families find common ground, I have always served as a bridge to resolution. My deep experience in family dynamics, civil matters, and Child Protective Services (CPS) contexts uniquely positions me to provide thoughtful, culturally sensitive, and effective mediation.
At the heart of my work are three core values: Compassion, Confidence, and Confidentiality. These principles guide every interaction and ensure that each client feels respected, heard, and empowered throughout the mediation process.

Services
Mediation is a structured, voluntary process in which a neutral third party, called a mediator, helps two or more parties in conflict to communicate, negotiate, and reach a mutually acceptable agreement. Unlike a judge or arbitrator, the mediator does not make decisions or impose outcomes—instead we facilitate dialogue and support problem-solving.

Family Mediation
Helping families navigate sensitive issues such as separation, divorce, child custody, parenting plans, and elder care with respect, clarity, and confidentiality.

Civil Dispute Mediation
Neutral, confidential support to help parties reach fair and peaceful agreements. Convenient, confidential, and committed to your peace of mind.
Landlord/Tenant, Contracts, Small Claims are welcomed.

CPS Mediation
Child Protective Services (CPS) mediation aims to avoid the emotional and sometimes traumatic experience of having a child protective services termination trial. With the hope to resolve who the children will live with and what kind of visitation, possession, and access the child’s parents will have in the future.
